Overview

Ampcus is seeking a UAT Test Analyst to support both manual and automated testing for ERP implementations (CGI Advantage or similar).

This role combines hands-on UAT execution with automation development , focusing on building reusable test scripts, supporting regression testing, and improving overall testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Execute UAT test cases across ERP modules:
\n
• GL, P2P, O2C, AP/AR, Grants, Projects
\n
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for:
\n
• UAT smoke testing
\n
• Regression testing
\n
• End-to-end business scenarios
\n
• Work with Automation Lead to:
\n
• Convert manual test cases into automated scripts
\n
• Identify high-value automation opportunities
\n
• Develop scripts using programming languages (not record/playback tools)
\n
• Support automation for:
\n
• UI workflows
\n
• API/services validation (where applicable)
\n
• Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (as applicable)
\n
• Perform:
\n
• Test execution and validation
\n
• Data validation and comparison checks
\n
• Support data conversion testing , including:
\n
• Validation of migrated data sets
\n
• Comparison of legacy vs. target system results
\n
• Log and track defects in Jira with proper documentation and evidence
\n
• Participate in:
\n
• UAT cycles
\n
• Defect triage and retesting
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• 4–8+ years in QA/UAT and test automation
\n
• Strong programming skills in one or more:
\n
• Java, Python, or C#
\n
• Experience with automation tools such as:
\n
• Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
\n
• Experience with:
\n
• Test case execution and defect tracking (Jira or similar)
\n
• Understanding of:
\n
• End-to-end business workflows (P2P, O2C preferred)
\n
• Experience with:
\n
• Data validation and basic reconciliation
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Experience with:
\n
• ERP systems (CGI Advantage, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft)
\n
• Exposure to:
\n
• CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
\n
• Experience with:
\n
• API testing (Postman, REST frameworks )
\n
• SQL for data validation
\n
• Exposure to:
\n
• Data conversion testing
\n
